The New Partnership

Safin, who is one of Rublev’s childhood heroes, will join Fernando Vicente on the coaching team during the clay-court swing. Though the partnership is just beginning, as they only started working together a few days ago. In a recent press interview in Nimes, Rublev expressed confidence that Safin can help him, noting that his new coach helps him see himself honestly. Safin, for his part, emphasized that while he can show Rublev the road, ultimate success will depend on the player himself.

Looking Ahead
