Rumble’s Landmark Growth: From Video Platform to Multi-faceted Tech Company
Platform Reaches New Heights in 2025
Rumble has demonstrated remarkable growth in early 2025, with first-quarter revenue reaching $23.7 million, marking a 34% increase year-over-year. The growth has been primarily driven by increased subscription revenue and enhanced monetization across their video and advertising platforms.
In a significant development, the White House established its official Rumble channel on February 10, 2025. This landmark expansion marks substantial institutional validation for the growing platform, potentially driving user growth and engagement while strengthening its position in official communications. The move is expected to boost the platform’s market position and attract more high-profile users.
Strategic Expansion and Partnerships
The platform has secured key partnerships with major brands including Netflix, Crypto.com, and Chevron, while expanding its Rumble Cloud business through new government and sports vertical clients, such as El Salvador and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
In a strategic move into cryptocurrency, Rumble has added approximately 188 Bitcoin to its treasury at an average price of $91,000 per coin, investing $17.1 million as part of its Bitcoin treasury strategy. The company views this as a strategic move to expand its ties to the crypto industry, with CEO Chris Pavlovski noting that these holdings could serve as a valuable hedge against inflation.
User Base and Future Prospects
The platform currently maintains 59 million Monthly Active Users (MAUs), showing improved user retention following the U.S. election cycle. The company’s Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) stands at $0.34, with revenue patterns showing lower advertising revenue being offset by higher subscription revenue.
Looking ahead, Rumble has secured a significant strategic investment of $775 million from Tether, the largest company in the digital assets industry, with $250 million in gross proceeds already received by February 7, 2025. The platform is also planning to release the Rumble Wallet later this year, supporting its international expansion efforts.
