A Year of Dramatic Contrasts

Robson Green is set to captivate audiences as murder suspect Patrick Harbottle in a gripping psychological drama called ‘The Game’, where he stars opposite award-winning actor Jason Watkins. The four-part thriller, produced for Channel 5, promises to be a tense psychological battle.

The series revolves around a high-stakes psychological game between two neighbors, with Watkins playing a retired police detective named Huw Miller, who is haunted by an unsolved case involving a sadistic serial killer. The plot thickens when Green’s character moves in next door and repeats the killer’s signature catchphrase, leading Huw to believe he’s finally found his suspect.

Global Adventures

Parallel to his dramatic role, Green has completed filming along the Jurassic Coast from Studland to Lyme Regis in Dorset for an exciting new eight-part TV series titled ‘World’s Most Amazing Walks’, commissioned by UKTV and BBC Select. The series, which finished filming in Dorset in early April 2025, will take Green to various locations including Spain, Portugal’s Douro Valley, and Scotland’s Great Glen and Hadrian’s Wall. The show will air in the UK on U And Yesterday and will be available to international audiences through BBC Select on Amazon Prime, Apple TV, and Roku.

Continued Success in Established Roles

Fans can also look forward to seeing Green reprise his role as Detective Inspector Geordie Keating in ITV’s Grantchester, with the tenth season scheduled to premiere in June 2025. Known for his versatility, Green has maintained his status as one of the UK’s most beloved actors, garnering a loyal following through his gentle fishing programs and earlier career as part of the singing duo Robson & Jerome.

Despite his busy schedule, Green remains grounded, crediting his fellow actors and crew for creating a collaborative atmosphere on set. During his recent projects, he has managed to balance work with personal interests, including visits to cultural landmarks like the Guggenheim museum, before returning to his quiet Northumberland home.
