Britain’s Leading Comedian Continues Global Success

Michael McIntyre, the British comedian, writer, and television presenter, who was once the highest-grossing stand-up comedian in the world, currently hosts both Michael McIntyre’s Big Show and the game show The Wheel.

MACNIFICENT Tour 2025

McIntyre has returned to the stage with his brand new show MACNIFICENT, addressing the numerous events and changes that have occurred in the five years since his previous tour. Currently, the tour has confirmed shows at the Gleneagle INEC Arena in Killarney, Ireland, for March 18 and 19, 2025. While no UK dates have been officially announced yet, there’s anticipation for additional shows, given his history of extensive UK performances.

Record-Breaking Achievements

McIntyre’s previous tours have been phenomenally successful, selling over four million tickets and breaking box-office records worldwide. He holds the distinction of being the highest-selling artist in the O2 Arena’s history, having sold more than 400,000 tickets across 28 shows, surpassing the previous record held by Take That.

Television Success

McIntyre continues to dominate television entertainment as the host of two highly successful BBC shows: the BAFTA-winning Michael McIntyre’s Big Show and The Wheel, which he created and also hosts for NBC in America. His television success continues to grow, with The Big Show, The Wheel, and his Stand-up Special all reaching the final round of voting for the National Television Awards, which are decided by public vote.

Global Impact

As Britain’s biggest comedian, McIntyre has achieved remarkable success globally, setting records for comedy show sales in South Africa and Norway, and selling out arenas in various locations including New Zealand, Australia, and Dubai. His international reach continues to expand, with performances scheduled across multiple continents, including first-time shows in America, Canada, Switzerland, Iceland, Sweden, Malta, and the Netherlands.
