A Year of Milestones and Recovery

LBC Express Holdings Inc., one of the largest logistics and money services firms in the Philippines, is marking a significant milestone this year as it celebrates its 75th year of service, with the company focusing on leveraging its strong foundation and embracing new opportunities for growth.

The company has demonstrated remarkable recovery in 2025, posting a net income of ₱181.3 million in the first half of the year, reversing the ₱190.9 million net loss from the previous year. Despite a slight dip in revenues, gross profit climbed 6 percent to ₱1.63 billion, driven by reduced service costs and sustained demand across its service lines.

Operational Excellence and Recognition

LBC’s operational excellence has been recognized recently, as it secured its position as the Top Deconsolidator by the Bureau of Customs – Manila International Container Port (BOC-MICP) for the first half of 2025. This award, presented in August 2025, highlights the company’s excellence in cargo handling and compliance with Customs regulations.

Leadership Transition and Future Strategy

A significant leadership change is on the horizon as Chairman, President and CEO Miguel Angel Camahort announced his retirement, effective October 1, 2025.

The company’s current business portfolio shows logistics continuing to be the backbone of operations, delivering 97 percent of first-half revenues (₱6.75 billion). Retail services contribute 67 percent, corporate solutions account for 30 percent, and money services generate the remaining three percent (₱232 million). Geographically, domestic operations contribute 61 percent of revenues, while the international network accounts for 39 percent.

Looking ahead, LBC remains committed to providing accessible, reliable, and efficient logistics and financial services for Filipinos locally and abroad. The company plans to continue investing in technology, enhancing customer experience, driving productivity, and integrating logistics with e-commerce platforms to help Filipino businesses scale.
