The Warren Legacy Lives On

Judy Spera (née Warren), born on January 11, 1946, in Connecticut, has become a notable figure in her own right as the daughter of famous paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, whose real-life cases inspired ‘The Conjuring’ films.

Recent Developments

In a significant development this August 2025, comedian Matt Rife and YouTube personality Elton Castee have purchased the Warren’s home and museum, with plans to reopen the facility to allow patrons to spend the night inside. The Speras clarified on the New England Society for Psychic Research (NESPR) page that while they had to sell the house due to maintenance costs, the artifacts within the museum remain family property.

Carrying Forward the Supernatural Legacy

While Judy spent much of her life away from the spotlight and the paranormal world of her parents, she has recently embraced her family’s legacy. Together with her husband Tony, she runs the New England Society for Psychic Research (NESPR), which conducts paranormal investigations and participates in conventions and panels.

A Different Perspective on the Paranormal

As the daughter of Ed and Lorraine Warren, Judy Spera possesses some psychic ability but has not fully developed it due to her hesitation to become too involved in the supernatural realm. Her childhood experiences with her father’s stories left such an impression that she still finds it challenging to immerse herself in serious investigations.

Looking to the Future

As the only living member of the Warren family, Judy has inherited the responsibility of maintaining their paranormal legacy and preserving the many artifacts, files, and photographs from their investigations. While she approaches the paranormal with caution, unlike her parents’ more direct engagement, she continues to honor their work by educating the public about the supernatural world.
