A Premier Aviation Event Returns to Ayr

The International Ayr Show-Festival of Flight is scheduled for Friday, September 5 and Saturday, September 6, 2025, along the scenic Ayr shorefront. The event, which first launched in 2014 and was revived by South Ayrshire Council in 2023, is expected to draw up to 90,000 spectators.

World-Class Aerial Displays

The show will feature impressive performances by the magnificent Red Arrows and RAF Typhoon, while the French Aerobatic Team, Équipe de Voltige de l’Armée de l’Air (EVAA), will make their debut appearance at the festival on Friday night.

Educational and Entertainment Features

The SKYLAB will return to the Festival Village featuring a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) marquee, offering hands-on activities and demonstrations from companies across Scotland.

Visitor Experience

Detailed display schedules and aircraft information will be available for purchase at the Destination South Ayrshire marquee in the festival village for £5. For those seeking an enhanced experience, the Chill Out Zone offers an exclusive viewing area with special bar access and luxury toilets for £8.
