A Notable Evolution

Heidi Fleiss, known historically as the ‘Hollywood Madam,’ first gained notoriety for running an upscale prostitution ring in Los Angeles. Today, in 2025, her life has taken several remarkable turns, establishing herself as a figure of transformation and reinvention.

Current Ventures and Advocacy

Fleiss currently owns and manages the Flying S Ranch Ultralight Flightpark, an ultralight private use airport in Pahrump, Nevada. She has also become a passionate animal advocate, operating a tropical bird sanctuary in Pahrump, where she cares for endangered macaws.

Recent Challenges

Recent events have brought challenges to her sanctuary work, with two of her prized macaws being wounded by BB pellets. The birds survived their injuries, though at least one was temporarily immobilized and unable to fly. Fleiss has taken a constructive approach to the incident, expressing a desire to educate the community about these endangered species.

Hollywood Returns

A major biopic about Fleiss’s life is now in development, with Aubrey Plaza set to produce and star. The project marks the directorial debut of Leah Rachel, creator of Netflix’s ‘Chambers,’ and is being produced by Pinky Promise. The film will focus on Fleiss before her trial, depicting her attempts to navigate Los Angeles while trying to leverage various connections to get her case dropped.

Looking Forward

While Fleiss has expressed excitement about Plaza portraying her in the upcoming biopic, she has stated she won’t watch it, preferring not to revisit her past. Instead, she has largely retreated from the public eye, focusing primarily on her animal rescue efforts, marking a significant transformation from her notorious past to a life dedicated to wildlife conservation.
