Pricing remains consistent with previous editions, with the Standard Edition priced at $69.99 and the Ultimate Edition at $99.99.
New Features and Improvements
FC 26 promises more responsive dribbling, smarter AI positioning, and sharper, more explosive movement based on community feedback. The game also features improved goalkeeper reactions with more natural positioning and enhanced animations, along with new Playstyles and Player Roles.
A major addition to the Manager Career mode includes new Manager Live Challenges throughout the season. Players can tackle various real-world scenarios and alternative storylines, earning rewards such as Season Points, Vanity items, and ICONS and Heroes for use in modern-day clubs.
Cover Stars and Legacy
The game features multiple cover athletes, with Swedish football legend Zlatan Ibrahimović appearing on the Ultimate Edition, while Jude Bellingham and Jamal Musiala grace the alternate covers of the standard editions.
This marks another milestone in EA Sports’ journey after ending its long-standing licensing agreement with FIFA, a decision reportedly influenced by FIFA’s increased licensing fee requirements.
