A New Chapter in Craig David’s Musical Journey

Craig David has announced his ninth studio album, ‘Commitment,’ scheduled for release on August 8, 2025. The announcement came alongside the release of his new single ‘Wake Up’ on April 16, 2025.

The album rollout has already begun with recent singles, including a collaboration with American singer JoJo titled ‘In It With You’ released on July 11, 2025, followed by ‘Rain’ on August 4, 2025.

Return to R&B Roots

David has expressed excitement about returning to his R&B roots, stating ‘I’m gassed because it’s R&B again.’ The artist shows gratitude for his ability to continue writing and performing music worldwide after 25 years in the industry.

Recent Activities and Social Impact

In a significant move beyond music, David recently featured in a Shelter film campaign advocating for social housing, returning to his childhood council home in Southampton. During this visit, he shared personal insights about his upbringing, stating that growing up in social housing ‘meant everything’ to him, providing security and support, along with a strong sense of community.

Upcoming Tour and Future Plans

The ‘Commitment Tour’ is set to begin in February in the UK, following his recent successful shows in the United States. The tour will commence in Leeds on February 2nd and conclude with a London show on February 20th.
