A Historic Clash of Boxing Titans

The highly anticipated super middleweight professional boxing match between Mexican undisputed champion Canelo Álvarez and American former undisputed welterweight champion Terence Crawford, billed as ‘Once In A Lifetime’ and ‘There Can Only Be One,’ is set to make history. Breaking new ground in boxing broadcasting, the event will stream live globally on Netflix, included in every subscription plan with no additional pay-per-view costs.

Championship Legacy at Stake

Both fighters, ranked among the top pound-for-pound boxers globally, will battle to determine this generation’s finest boxer. Álvarez, a four-division champion and two-time undisputed super middleweight champion, has claimed titles from light middleweight through light heavyweight, and remains undefeated at super middleweight.

Crawford brings his own impressive credentials as a four-division champion who has held titles from lightweight through light middleweight. A victory would make him the first male boxer to become a three-division undisputed champion in the four-belt era. Additionally, he could join an elite group of only six male fighters in history to capture titles in five divisions.

Event Details and Undercard

The historic bout is scheduled for September 13, 2025, at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. Before the main event, fans will be treated to a strong nine-fight undercard featuring top contenders and prospects. The three-fight main card includes a WBC interim super middleweight title bout between Christian Mbilli and Lester Martinez, plus an exciting prospect battle between Dana White-backed Irishman Callum Walsh and Fernando Vargas Jr.

Broadcasting Innovation

The event will feature an all-star broadcasting team, with Jon Anik leading play-by-play alongside analysts Max Kellerman and Andre Ward. The legendary Michael Buffer will handle ring announcing for the main card, while the desk coverage will be hosted by Mario Lopez, joined by Antonio Tarver, Mark Kriegel, and Mike Coppinger.
