Rising Star Continues to Shine

Bijan Robinson’s 2024 campaign was nothing short of remarkable, as he became just the fifth player in Falcons history to gain 1,800 scrimmage yards in a single season, finishing fourth among all NFL players with 1,887 yards.

The dynamic running back finished sixth in touchdowns with 15, third in rushing yards with 1,456, and second in missed tackles forced with 99, establishing himself as one of the NFL’s premier offensive weapons.

Looking Ahead to 2025

Robinson has set ambitious goals for the 2025 season, stating, “We’re done with 30-yard runs and all that stuff. Now it’s time to get those 60 yards, 50 yards.” To achieve these goals, he has been focusing on explosive drills and increasing his sprint training, including 100-yard sprints to prepare for breakthrough moments in games.

His outstanding performance has earned him recognition in the NFL’s Top 100 Players of 2025, where he debuted at No. 62. Falcons head coach Raheem Morris praised Robinson, describing him as “an art form” and highlighting his multiple qualities: “His ability to move, his ability to take care of his body, his ability to train, his ability to motivate, his unselfishness, humility – all of those things – his ability to give back in our community. He’s such a great player and such a great human.”

Impact on the Falcons’ Future

The Atlanta Falcons have high expectations for the 2025 season, with NFL.com’s projections placing Robinson second in rushing yards with an anticipated 1,488 yards, trailing only behind Saquon Barkley’s projected 1,548 yards. With Robinson’s elite abilities widely recognized in the NFL world and his consistent top-three selection in fantasy football leagues, the Falcons are positioned for a potential bounce-back season, especially with Michael Penix showing promise after taking over for Kirk Cousins in 2024.

As the 2025 season approaches, Robinson’s continued development and ambitious goals suggest an exciting chapter ahead for both the player and the Atlanta Falcons organization.
