Winter Wonderland 2025: London’s Magical Festival Returns with Enhanced Features and Attractions
London’s Premier Winter Festival Makes Grand Return
Hyde Park is set to transform once again into a dazzling, snow-covered, Alpine-themed, 350-acre festive funscape. The event, one of the largest Christmas events in the UK, returns for its eighteenth year in 2025, and is expected to welcome around 2.5 million visitors over six magical weeks.
Event Details and Timing
Located in London’s iconic Hyde Park, Winter Wonderland is the ultimate destination for festive fun. The event will run from Friday 14 November 2025 to Thursday 1 January 2026, offering attractions, activities, entertainment, food, drinks and more.
The festival will be open daily from 10am to 10pm (except Christmas Day), with visitors required to enter at their allocated time slot. Once inside, guests can stay for as long as they’d like.
Attractions and Entertainment
Visitors can expect thrilling rides, immersive icy attractions, carnival games, and enchanting shows, accompanied by a cornucopia of festive food and drink. The event features cosy fire pit bars, breathtaking mythical ice kingdoms, white-knuckle rides, cutting edge live entertainment and London’s coolest street food heroes.
Popular attractions that typically sell out fastest include the Ice Rink, Magical Ice Kingdom, Giant Observation Wheel, Bar Ice, and Zippos/Cirque shows—visitors are advised to book these alongside their entry.
Practical Information
Visitors should allow 3–5 hours for a relaxed visit with a headline attraction, food and a few rides, with additional time needed if skating or seeing a show. There will be 100% bag searches at entry, and only small bags (A4 size or smaller) are permitted. No outside food is allowed except for baby/medical needs, though sealed water is permitted. Both card/contactless payments and cash are accepted at most outlets.
To get the best value, visitors are encouraged to book rides and attractions in advance to guarantee the best prices and avoid missing out on sold-out sessions on the day.
