LePub New York City has announced Jim Curtis as their new chief creative officer. Taking effect from May 27, Curtis will oversee all creative output for LePub’s newly launched US hub, part of their global boutique network.
Based in New York City, Curtis will report to Bruno Bertelli, global CEO of LePub and CCO of LePub Worldwide. In his role, Curtis will focus on driving radical creative solutions that position LePub New York’s clients at the forefront of culture, leveraging technology, data, and global trends. He joins the executive leadership team alongside Lea Mastroberti, president, and Katy Alonzo, chief strategy officer.
Distinguished Creative Background
Curtis brings impressive credentials to the role, having most recently served as global EVP, executive creative director of McCann Worldgroup. His accolades include prestigious industry awards such as Titanium at Cannes, Yellow Pencils at D&AD, and golds at the Effies, One Show and Webby Awards. He has also served on the 2023 Cannes Lions Film Jury.
Strategic Business Impact
The appointment comes at a crucial time for LePub, which opened its New York office in January, with founding clients including Heineken and Barilla. Curtis’s previous work has demonstrated his creative prowess, including award-winning campaigns such as the VB Solar Exchange and FightMND initiatives, as well as innovative projects like mini-series for Mailchimp and a documentary with Gotham Chopra for Under Armour.
