A Year of Remarkable Achievements

Hailee Steinfeld is riding high on the success of one of the year’s biggest hits, the Warner Bros horror thriller ‘Sinners,’ which has achieved remarkable box office success, earning $365 million globally, including an impressive $278 million domestically. The film has become the top-grossing original movie of the past 15 years and the fifth-highest-grossing horror movie of all time.

Personal Connection to ‘Sinners’

Released in April 2025, ‘Sinners,’ directed by Ryan Coogler, is a vampire film set in the 1930s South, where Steinfeld portrays Mary, a multiracial woman opposite Michael B. Jordan. The role held special significance for Steinfeld, as it led her to explore her own family history. The actor, who has Black and Filipino heritage through her maternal grandfather, found a deeply personal connection to the material, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to connect with her family history.

New Horizons in Film and Music

Following this success, Steinfeld is now set to star opposite Miles Teller in Paramount’s Olympics film ‘Winter Games.’ The story follows a perpetually overlooked skier (Steinfeld) and a self-sabotaging hockey legend (Teller) who find themselves at their breaking points, with their unexpected connection potentially affecting both their chances at Olympic glory.

The actress has also made her return to music with the release of “Dangerous” on the ‘Sinners’ soundtrack, which has already garnered over 4.7 million streams on Spotify in its first month.

Future Projects and Marvel Connections

Steinfeld maintains strong ties with Marvel Studios, with several upcoming projects in the pipeline. She will reprise her role as Kate Bishop in the TV-MA animated series ‘Marvel Zombies’ releasing on Disney+ on October 3, and will return as Gwen Stacy/Spider-Gwen in ‘Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse,’ scheduled for release on June 4, 2027.

On a personal note, Steinfeld’s relationship with Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has reached a new milestone. After going public with their relationship in July 2024 and getting engaged in November 2024, the couple married on May 31, 2025, in California.
