A Digital Gateway to Radiohead’s Triumphant Return

Radiohead have announced their first live performances in over seven years, with the band making their long-awaited return to the stage this November for a run of 20 arena concerts across five cities.

Registration Process and Fan-First Approach

To minimize ticket scalping and ensure fair access for fans, tickets will only be available through registration at radiohead.com. The registration window opens Friday, September 5th at 10:00 a.m. BST/11:00 a.m. CEST and closes Sunday September 7th at 10:00 p.m. BST/11:00 p.m. CEST, with tickets going on sale beginning September 12th.

Tour Details and Venues

The tour schedule includes performances in Madrid (4, 5, 7, 8 Nov), Bologna (14, 15, 17, 18 Nov), London (21, 22, 24, 25 Nov), Copenhagen (1, 2, 4, 5 Dec) and Berlin (8, 9, 11, 12 Dec).

Behind the Reunion

According to Radiohead drummer Philip Selway, the band initially reunited for rehearsals last year ‘just for the hell of it.’ After their seven-year hiatus, he noted that ‘it felt really good to play the songs again and reconnect with a musical identity that has become lodged deep inside all five of us.’ This led to their decision to play shows together, though Selway hints at possible future developments, stating ‘For now, it will just be these ones but who knows where this will all lead.’

Recent Activities and Future Prospects

The band has recently released a digital version of their new live album, ‘Hail to the Thief Live Recordings 2003 – 2009,’ with a vinyl pressing expected on October 31st. Additionally, Thom Yorke is currently working on adapting the band’s 2003 album for a new production of Shakespeare’s ‘Hamlet,’ scheduled to premiere next year at Aviva Studios in Manchester.
